Simulation of temperature field in ultrasonic reactor using finite element analysis

  • In this paper,we propose to simulate temperature field in an ultrasonic reactor through a finite element analysis.Using ANSYS,the temperature distribution of dispersion polymerization of styrene in a 400W ultrasonic reactor is calculated and simulated with different reaction time.The results show that the reaction mechanism of dispersion polymerization in an ultrasonic reactor is stepwise in different regions.
