Study on two arrays bearing-line spectrum ranging based on preprocessing bearings

By analyzing the case in which an observer keeps moving with constant course and velocity,it is found that the relationship between the bearings of a target and the time is approximate quadratic.Thus a preprocessing method of filtering the target bearings observed by two arrays is proposed.The preprocessed bearings and the characteristic line spectrum of the target are used for the dual-array passive ranging.Simulation results show that after the preprocessing the range of target can be estimated more precisely.
