Simulation and experimental study on the radiation noise characteristics of air compressor structure of vehicle brake

  • In view of the fact that the vibration and noise of KYV480 brake piston air compressor are relatively strong in its operation process, which affects the riding comfort and the physical and mental health of drivers and passengers to a certain extent, the radiation noise characteristics of the shell surface of air compressor are studied based on the joint solution of finite element method and acoustic boundary element method in this paper. On the basis of calculating the loads on the shell in its operation process of the air compressor, the vibration acceleration response of the shell surface of the air compressor is simulated and compared with the vibration acceleration data of the shell obtained from the experiment, and the results are in good agreement. Acoustic boundary element method is used to calculate the noise radiated from the surface of an air compressor shell. The results show that the medium and low frequency noise in the operation process of an air compressor is mainly caused by the radiation noise of the shell vibration, which provides an effective guidance for the subsequent structural design and improvement of the air compressor.
