Abstract: The frame of data broadcasting protocol and the position of OC protocol in the frame were presented.The technique of partitioning data for translating in channel by using OC protocol in DVB-C is studied.In addition,for the traditional CATV system,a software solution is proposed to parse data in the receiving system.By using the software,the digital Set Top Box(STB) can carry out extracting and parsing information of service data being transmitted in cable.After being applied in embedded system,this solution has been certified to be feasible.
