基于形态学的尾流图像边缘检测算法研究

  • 摘要: 在海上采用坐底上视多波束声呐测量舰船尾流时,由于多波束声呐存在旁瓣能量泄漏的问题,导致海面强反射回声引起声呐图像旁瓣干扰严重,在尾流图像中呈现“亮环状”干扰,影响尾流数据分析工作。为更好地研究尾流声学特性,运用数学形态学图像处理算法,结合图像霍夫变换和轮廓追踪技术,提出一种能有效分割尾流目标与环境干扰的算法。通过仿真数据验证,该算法能有效识别并消除尾流图像“亮环状”旁瓣干扰和散点状图像噪点,正确提取尾流目标的边界轮廓,具有一定的工程实践应用价值。

     

    Abstract: When the wake of ships is measured with multi-beam sonar sitting on the sea bottom, there is serious sidelobe interference in the sonar image due to energy leakage from the sidelobes, caused by strong reflection echoes on the sea surface. This interference creates a "bright ring" effect in the wake image, which disturbs data analysis. In order to study the acoustic characteristics of the wake, a mathematical morphological image processing algorithm combined with image Hough transform and contour tracking technology is proposed, which can effectively separate the wake target from environmental interference. Data simulation demonstrates that this algorithm can successfully identify and eliminate "bright ring" sidelobe interference and reduce scatter image noise while accurately extracting the boundary contour of the wake target. It has practical application value in engineering.
