基于相位加权的波束形成方法研究

Research on Beamforming Method Based on Phase Weighting

  • 摘要: 本文在常规波束形成(conventional beamforming, CBF)方法的基础上研究了一种基于相位加权的波束形成(phase weighted beamforming, PWBF)算法,它根据阵列接收信号的相位特性在扫描方向对CBF算法的方位谱进行直接加权,使得在保持目标方向接收信号功率不变的情况下,使偏离目标方向比较远的非目标信号功率得到抑制,达到降低旁瓣的目的,从而提高CBF算法的空间分辨力。文中通过数值仿真和湖试数据对CBF算法和PWBF算法进行了对比,验证了PWBF算法的可行性和有效性。

     

    Abstract: This paper studies a phase-weighted beamforming (PWBF) algorithm based on conventional beamforming (CBF) methods. It directly weights the square spectrum of the CBF algorithm in the scanning direction according to the phase characteristics of the received signal in the array, ensuring that the received signal power in the target direction remains unchanged, suppresses the power of non-target signals that deviate significantly from the target direction, achieving the goal of reducing sidelobes and improving the spatial resolution of the CBF algorithm. The article compares the CBF algorithm and PWBF algorithm through numerical simulation and lake trial data, verifying the feasibility and effectiveness of the PWBF algorithm.
