基于L型阵的相干信号二维DOA估计方法

Two-dimensional DOA estimation method of coherent signal based on L-shaped array

  • 摘要: 文中提出一种二维空间相干信号波达方向(Direction of Arrival, DOA)估计方法。该方法首先对L形阵接收数据协方差矩阵进行共轭重构,将原协方差矩阵的平方与重构矩阵的平方相加后求均值,得到新协方差矩阵。然后采用前后向空间平滑技术对新协方差矩阵进行预处理,最后通过Root-MUSIC算法进行DOA估计。仿真实验和湖试数据分析结果表明,与常规方法相比,文中方法避免了谱峰搜索,减小了计算量,提高了相干信号DOA估计的分辨成功概率和估计精度,具有较高的工程应用价值。

     

    Abstract: In this paper a two-dimensional direction of arrival (DOA) estimation method for coherent signals is proposed. In this method, the conjugated matrix of the covariance matrix of the L-shaped array receiving data is reconstructed firstly, and then, by adding the square of the original covariance matrix to the square of the reconstructed conjugated matrix and taking the mean, a new covariance matrix is constructed. After the new covariance matrix being preprocessed with forward and backward array spatial smoothing techniques, the RootMUSIC algorithm is finally used to estimate DOA information. The simulation and lake trial data show that compared with the traditional method, the method proposed in this paper avoids searching spectral peaks, reduces computation amount, and improves the resolution success probability and the DOA estimation accuracy of the coherent signals. It has good engineering application value.
