Abstract:
The use of wave gliders for marine ambient observation is a new means of ocean observation, which has the advantages of low cost and high efficiency compared with large platforms such as survey ships. Since the wave glider is driven by wave and powered by solar energy, and the platform has less self-noise, it is suitable for long-term observation of underwater ambient noise. In order to realize the marine ambient noise measurement and observation based on wave glider, a wave glider intelligent marine ambient noise measurement and observation system is designed, including a hydro-acoustic acquisition system and an adapted redundant storage scheme for hydro-acoustic data, which can realize the functions of acoustic data acquisition and storage, data satellite back transmission and remote control. Among them, the hydro-acoustic acquisition system has the advantages of low power consumption and high stability. The hydro-acoustic data redundancy storage scheme has the advantages of flexible storage and data security. The sea test shows that the wave glider intelligent marine ambient noise measurement and observation system has the characteristics of high practicality, long endurance and intelligent and convenient acquisition and storage, which can better complete the task of marine ambient noise measurement and observation and has a good application prospect.
