Abstract:
As an important part of beautifying campus environment, the acoustic environmental quality of university campus affects the quality of teaching and research environment and the physical and mental health of teachers and students. Questionnaire surveys (soundscape tranquility, beautiful scenery and acoustic comfort, acoustic element characteristics, preferences) and field sound source data surveys are used to study the acoustic environment of the Huaxi campus of Guizhou Normal University. From the audiovisual point of view, the beauty of campus environment is significantly correlated with the quietness (0.315 ≤
r ≤ 0.575,
p<0.01), and in a quiet environment, the degree of comfort of the sound from wind blowing leaves and running water are positively correlated with quietness (0.126 ≤
r ≤ 0.281,
p<0.01). From the perspective of the characteristics and the preferences of acoustic elements in campus, if the subjective intensity score of each venue is greater than 1, the interviewees can clearly perceive the sound source, and teachers and students in campus prefer the sound of wind blowing leaves (1.39), birds singing sound (1.34) and the sound of running water (1.29). The measurement results of sound level show that the sound levels at Ximen, No. 1 Stadium, No. 1 Canteen, College Building, and No. 2 living area all exceed the limit of 55 dB(A), with an average value of 55~60.8 dB(A). The average sound levels in leisure areas, such as the side of Baiyun Lake, Library Square, Longwen Mountain and Ginkgo grove near the library are 42.7~55 dB(A) respectively. The results of acoustic environmental quality evaluation can be used as a basis for campus acoustic landscape optimization.
