Abstract: In order to identify the characteristics and contribution of aerodynamic noise and electromagnetic noise of metro vehicle auxiliary converter under different operating conditions, the noise of converter cabinet and its two main components (fan and transformer) are tested. Through single unit test, the peak frequencies and corresponding amplitudes of fan and transformer under different working conditions are obtained, which can provide theoretical basis for the next noise reduction of converter cabinet.
