Abstract: The guest rooms in five-star hotel have very high requirements for privacy. The sound insulation effect of partition walls between guest rooms is the most concern of owners and customers. According to the national standard of five-star hotels and the sound insulation requests of several management companies, the sound insulation characteristics of various types of walls under different structural parameters are systematically compared and analyzed through software simulation and actual measurement of some walls. Several methods of guest room partition for different types of walls according to the sound insulation requirements are summarized as a reference for hotel owners, management company and acoustic consultants.
