Abstract:
When a vehicle runs at a high speed more than 100 km·h
-1, the aerodynamic noise produced by the interaction of air flow and vehicle body plays a leading role in the noise contribution of the vehicle, so it is very important to control the aerodynamic noise source outside the vehicle. Through the study of the relativity between aerodynamic noise of the SUV wheelhouse area and the interior noise environment of the vehicle by experimental and numerical methods, the relationship between the coefficient of the frequency formula of aerodynamic noise of SUV wheelhouse area and the vehicle speed is derived. It is concluded that the aerodynamic noise of the SUV wheelhouse area has less influence on the comfort of the front passengers, but a greater influence on the comfort and sound quality of the rear passengers. The technical method of controlling aerodynamic noise in the wheelhouse area has been obtained preliminarily, which can suppress the aerodynamic noise of SUV wheelhouse area to a certain extent, reduces the noise in the car and improves the sound quality of the SUV.
