Abstract:
Simulation method, especially the Signal Level Simulation (SLS), is a feasible way to evaluate the effectiveness of underwater warfare for its similarity to the real performance of equipment and operational environment. The acoustic models of underwater combat entities, such as ship radiated noise model, are the basis of underwater warfare evaluation system. Based on deep analysis of the operational process of underwater warfare, a general model library of SLS for underwater acoustic detection is presented. Eight types of acoustic models involved in torpedo-attack and anti-torpedo warfare are included and managed in the library, which support on-line and off-line simulation. All the models are verified by the measured data. The establishment of this library provides an engineering research foundation and real test environment for the overall design, performance test, scheme validation and acoustic compatibility research of underwater warfare system.
