Abstract:
Traditional description and quantitative assessment of noise effects on human beings is generally limited to low-intensity noise (no human auditory injuries). In recent years, due to strong sounds draw more attention, research on strong sound effect description becomes urgent. This paper first builds a primary verbal description, makes a series of screening through subjective assessment tests, and finally obtains a descriptor of strong sound effect on human psycho-logical. Furthermore, by completing subjective assessment tests with different strong sound physical parameters (sound pressure level, duration and frequency), and obtaining quantitative data of strong sound effect on human psychology, the basis for future modeling study of strong sound effect is provided.
